Brain Review:  Twinkletoes

I was gifted with this brain of mine approximately 10491 days ago. I say “gifted”, I was given it. There was no option to get a refund or even a credit note and so I had to face facts, I was stuck with it. The thing is, it wasn’t like a normal brain. It was PINK. Pink and fluffy. It looked pretty cool I had to admit but there wasn’t much substance to it.
Me and pink, fluffy brain weren’t really friends until recently. To be frank, it p*ssed me off. What good is something that looks good if it doesn’t actually function? Who would buy this brain?

Pink brain cannot ‘do’ maths. Nope, totally hopeless. It never understood politics and it was incapable of remembering facts in history lessons at school. Not a great start. Apparently pink brain had reached its maximum storage capacity due to viruses that had taken over. Nasty viruses.

However, recently, pink brain has been doing a stellar job in that it has been fighting away all sorts of brain demons. It has been fighting hard for 2 and a half years now. We have in fact made best friends recently because I have realised that pink brain is actually very resilient despite the odds. The viruses are starting to be removed thanks to some new software updates. Because of this, pink, fluffy brain now has sparkles too!

Pink brain is determined, strong and although not good at maths, politics or history, IS good at self-reflection, song lyrics and baking cakes – what more could you ask for, right?

Pink brain is very friendly and just wants to be loved.

All in all, I would say, not the number one choice of brain if you are looking for intellectual conversations or even for a brain to keep your finances in check… but a great choice if you are looking for a brain to keep you going when times are hard and a brain that is not afraid of emotion. The rest can be learnt in a book right?

Out of 5, this brain gets a 3.
